I'm so glad I listened to Dr. Lareef! We had nothing but a great experience with Dr. Bhatt and his staff. They were all very kind and Dr. Bhatt was very thorough. He performed my son's tonsillectomy without a hitch and immediately called me after the surgery to let me know all went well.
Dr. Bhatt came highly recommended by my son's oncologist, Dr. Lareef. My 17-year-old son needed a tonsillectomy and I was nervous to meet with Dr. Bhatt because of a few bad reviews on this site. But Dr. Lareef assured me that Dr. Bhatt was an excellent Doctor who performed many, many tonsillectomies and my son would be fine with him.
My son has been a patient of Dr. Bhatt for a few years now. I have had nothing but great experience with the staff and with Dr. Bhatt. I do highly recommend Dr. Bhatt, he is well knowledge in the ENT area. Thanks to him, my son no longer has excessive nose bleeds and did not require ear surgery nor hearing aide, due to early detection of problem from Dr. Bhatt.
I am new to Pennsylvania and my pediatrican referred the doctor. When I orginally made the first appointment the scheduler was nice and efficient. My sons appointment was today 2/20 and when I called to verify my sons appointment and if I was able to come in earlier and I wouldn't mind waiting, The lady that answered the phone was rude and horrible and told me we are not going to sacrifice our lunch hour to see the patient. Are you kidding me??? What kind of professionalism is that and then when I call you horrible you hang up the phone on me?? After reading reviews that the physician was rude I can now understand why this secretary is still working there. I was going to go in to input a formal complaint but by the looks of these reviews it looks like nothing would get accomplished. I work in the medical field and I would never tell a patient I have to eat first before I see you. The patient care in this office sucks big time and I would never refer a patient to see. Patient care starts in the front line and if the receptionists are rude there is no sense in wasting time seeing a physician who would possibly not fix the issue. I will find a different physician elsewhere...so not waste your time and frustration!
Don't let a few negative posts fool you. The office staff was very nice and Dr. Bhatt is a gentlemen and a great surgeon.
Some of thee office staff is rude. There is a slight language barrier because some have a heavy Indian accent and they get annoyed when you (who speaks perfect clear English) keeps asking them to repeat themselves.
