It's easy to navigate and has plenty of room to rest and relax. There was a lovely fireplace that one could literally climb into and warm up. You might cry at the prices, a kit Kat bar was $3, but that's neither here nor there.
Busy place! We had tons of fun, but there were lots of people. If you need time to learn, come early in the week and not on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. The prices were great and the staff were all super friendly.
We only visited to see the tubing area and visit the lodge for soup. The lodge area was a decent size and fit a large group of people, as there were two floors, with a fireplace in the middle. I love being able to sit at a table and watch the skiers and snowboarders as they come down the hill. The food was super overpriced. My kids are hungry every time we go somewherre so i paid slightly over $25 for a small soup, chicken fingers and fries basket and two hot chocolates. We were really there for the ambiance. The tubing area looked boring. When we first pulled up, i couldnt see anyone tubing, but as we got closer there were some people. It seemed like a short ride from top to bottom and not many lanes across. Overall it was a nice stop and close to where we stayed which is why we visited in the first place.
Only one lift open this Friday December fifteen but we knew that coming here. It's why we got lift tickets for two people $55. Family friendly. No wait what so ever. Staff are very helpful. Having a hot chocolate break by the lodge fireplace as i write this. Also my fiancee needed poles and we got her a pair at the pro shop for forty bucks..it is a good pair that could easily sell for fifty or sixty. Thus I get the feeling their pro shop is not elite pricing as in some of the lodges elsewhere in vt, NY, PA etc. Overall a relaxing time. Can't really rate the trails given that only a handful are open.
I had the best time snow tubing. Henry the ski assistant made my holiday. You were wonderful. Thanks Henry and thanks Shawnee for a great time.
